He performs boundary and topographic surveys. Designs land development projects including conceptual, preliminary and final design. He designs streets, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water and other utilities. Performs general civil engineering design for subdivisions, construction inspection, property and construction surveying. Prepares plans and specifications for various projects. Prepares cost estimates and plans and specifications for construction projects. Designs bridges and roads for city, county, and/or state projects. Creates Geographic Information Services (GIS) maps and databases for private and government clients. Has been a Superintendent, Engineer, and Construction cost estimator on various bridge, road, dam, silo, rock quarry and pipeline construction projects in many parts of the United States. Performed limestone quarry exploration, mapping, development and acquisition of property, earthwork, and mineral volume calculations. Designed open pit coal mines in Western United States. Prepared detailed cost studies for mining method and equipment needs. |
